สืบสานพระพุทธศาสนา "พุทธชยันตี 2600 ปี" เนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา

             เนื่องในโอกาสวันวิสาขบูชา อันเป็นวันสำคัญทางพุทธศาสนาในประเทศไทย อีกทั้งยังเป็นปีพุทธชยันตี 2600 ปี แห่งการตรัสรู้ของสมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า แม่ เด็กและเจ้าหน้าที่หมู่บ้านเด็กโสสะทั้ง 5 แห่งทั่วประเทศ ได้ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมที่เรียบง่ายและเป็นไปตามประเพณีอย่างไทย ให้เด็กๆ ได้เรียนรู้ถึงพระธรรมคำสั่งสอนของพระพุทธองค์ ซึ่งในช่วงเช้ามีการตักบาตร และฟังพระรรมคำสั่งสอน โดยหลักเพื่อสอนให้เด็กทุกคนละเว้นการทำความชั่ว ทำแต่ความดี ทำจิตใจให้บริสุทธิ์ และในช่วงหัวค่ำเป็นการเวียนเทียนรอบพระอุโบสถเพื่อน้อมระลึกถึงพระพุทธ พระธรรม และพระสงฆ์

             Visakha Puja means as Lord Buddha’s encompasses the birth, enlightenment Nirvana, and passing. The Visakhapuja Day in 2012 will be an important day as it marks the occasion of 2,600 years of enlightenment. There will be a celebration or ritual ceremony to worship Lord Buddha. The event is called 'Buddha Jayantee', five SOS Children’s Villages all over Thailand have attended this day in a simple and traditional way. Starting from the presence of the Dhamma Hearing in the morning and walk with lighted candles in hand around a temple in order to cogitate the verity of Buddhist’s scriptures or “Buddhist’s teaching”.
