ลอย...ลอยกระทง

วันลอยกระทง ตรงกับวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 12 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติไทย ซึ่งจะตกอยู่ในเดือนพฤศจิกายน ตามปฏิทินสากล ในคืนวันลอยกระทงชาวไทยจะนำกระทงไปลอยที่แม่น้ำ คลอง สระน้ำ หรือริมทะเล เพื่อเป็นการขอขมาต่อพระแม่คงคา

ที่หมู่บ้านเด็กโสสะของเรา คุณแม่โสสะและน้องๆ จะอธิษฐานขอพรและลอยกระทงร่วมกัน เพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย

Loi Krathong Festival

Loi Krathong is a Thai festival celebrated annually and takes place on the night of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, which is falls in November in the Western calendar. Thais launch their Krathong -- decorated baskets float on a river or a pond, making a wish as they do so. The festival may originate from an ancient ritual paying respect to the water spirits.
